Jamie Carroll

Founder and President

Jamie Carroll is founder and president of Fontis Water, one of the newest additions to the highly competitive Atlanta bottled water industry. He is responsible for business development marketing strategy and the day-to-day operations of the company.

At 28-years-old, Carroll is a young, ambitious entrepreneur with one vision: to build a successful company based on his family’s tradition of providing the highest quality products and unmatched customer service.

Carroll has been part of the natural spring water bottling business his entire life. His family owned Georgia Mountain Water for 20 years, building it into one of the strongest and most respected brands in the industry. Carroll knows the water business from the ground up. He worked at Georgia Mountain Water for 13 years, doing everything from washing coolers and loading trucks to working in human resources, marketing, accounting and IT.

Carroll resides in Marietta, Ga., where he was born and raised. He graduated from Kennesaw State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management. Carroll was recently named one of the top 40 young entrepreneurs in the state by Georgia Trend in 2003.

Andy Schiller

Andy started out in the bottled water industry in 1993, working for Jamie’s father at Georgia Mountain Water. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina Andy grew up in the Marietta area and attended Sprayberry High School. Andy then spent many wonderful years at UGA and returned to Kennesaw State University to receive his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After working for a large insurance company in the Atlanta area (and according to him, “Nearly going insane.”, Andy welcomed the opportunity to join Fontis Water working alongside long-time friend and owner of Fontis, Jamie Carroll.

In his spare time Andy enjoys camping, working out, writing, and keeping it real. He takes pride in being Fontis’s most valued employee (an informal annual survey conducted by Andy on the same day as performance evaluations--also conducted by Andy).

Brad Carroll

"Let me know what you need me to do." This was Brad’s reaction when his cousin Jamie told him of his plans to start Fontis. Brad got his start in the family water business at the early age of 13 and has played a pivotal role in its success ever since. Brad started in the warehouse loading trucks and cleaning water coolers and steadily worked his way up into his current role as VP of Route Distribution and Sales where he manages the many facets of the route department, water delivery, and sales.

In his spare time Brad enjoys being with friends, traveling and cooking out. Brad recently got engaged to Candice Keeting and they will be married in October of 2008.

Melinda Roshak

Melinda has worked with the Carroll family for twenty years and often claims these as "the best twenty years of her life." Mel, as we like to call her, worked for Georgia Mountain Water for fifteen years where she served several different roles including customer service representative, driver dispatch, and customer service supervisor. Like many of Fontis’ employees, Mel’s long time involvement in the bottled water industry made her an ideal choice when Jamie started Fontis. Melinda has been with Fontis since its inception in June of 2003. She currently acts as a customer service representative.

In her spare time Melinda enjoys spending time with her family. On any given day Melinda can be found at the ball park watching her son Tanner play football and baseball.

Bill Quinney

Bill is another longstanding employee of the Carroll family businesses. Getting his start in the summer of 1985 as a route driver, Bill continued to work for Georgia Mountain Water throughout the 90’s. Bill is in charge of promotions for Fontis, where he takes pride in representing Fontis products and services with a dynamic and energetic personality. Bill has won several awards through his community involvement including "Best of Show" at the Cobb Chamber Business Expo, "Business Person of the Year 2007" by the Canton Road Business Association (CRBA). He currently serves on the KBA Board of Directors for the 2007-2008 session.

When you ask Bill what he likes to do in his spare time he simply replies "what spare time" Bill spends much of his spare time, well, promoting Fontis…Way to go Bill!

Fontis Water proudly serves families and businesses in the metro Atlanta area. It is available for home or office delivery in 3-gallon, 5-gallon, 1-gallon and single-serving bottles.
