Meet MeLinda Roshak

For MeLinda Roshak, the Carroll family is practically her second family. Before she started with Fontis Water eight years ago, she had worked for Georgia Mountain Water for 15 years. (Georgia Mountain Water was owned and operated by members of Jamie Carroll’s family, including his father Jim.) Yes, that means she has been in the water business for 23 years!
“When Jamie called me and asked me to work for his new company, I was flattered,” said MeLinda. “I have known the Carrolls for a long time and they are good people to work for.”
A Cobb resident and North Cobb High School alum, MeLinda serves as the administrative assistant at Fontis. Her jobs include data entry, answering the phones and many other day-to-day operational activities. She loves the casual and friendly atmosphere of the office and considers her peers to be “like close family rather than working relationships.” She said the employees at Fontis have a great time, and she doesn’t mind the casual attire on a hot summer Georgia day!
MeLinda, who is also known as Mel, is married with two children. She loves spending time with her three year old granddaughter and watching her son, who is a senior, play football at North Cobb High School. She enjoys being with friends and family and loves cooking out.
