Run for the Rescues 5K

So it may be late July, but it is never too early to start thinking about plans for Labor Day, and we at Fontis know of a perfect event to start your day off. We are joining forces with Zone 5 Events for a fantastic 5K race taking place in Canton on Labor Day.
Zone 5 Events is excited to be partnering with Green Pets America, a 501 © (3) non-profit organization dedicated to halting the 100 year long needless destruction of shelter animals across the nation. The partners at Zone 5 Events equally share a passion for animals of all kinds and have chosen Green Pets America for one main reason, to stop this senseless abuse of animals. As owners of pets that were either rescued or adopted, they would like to contribute in some way in giving other homeless pets an opportunity in finding a permanent home.

On Labor Day, September 5, 2011, they will be hosting Run for the Rescues 5K with all proceeds benefiting Green Pets America and their vision of Rescuing, Rehabilitating and Re-homing homeless pets from kill shelters in Georgia and across the nation. Of course there will be plenty of great Fontis Water at this awesome event, too. We are inviting you to come out and be a part of this event … enjoy a great race and support a worthwhile cause. Once again, the race is a 5K (run/walk) race which will benefit Green Pets America. It will take place on Labor day, Monday September 5, 2011. At 8:00 am the 1K Fun Run Dog Trot will begin and at 8:30 am the 5k Road Race (Run/Walk)will begin.
Race day registration opens at 6:30 am and the race begins at Hopewell Baptist Church at 75 Ridge Road, Canton, GA 30114.

The entry fee is $20 by August 27 and
$25 after August 27 and on race day.
All pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt. A limited number of T-shirts will be available for race day registrants.
