Kennesaw Grand Prix Races Announced

Feeling like 2012 is your year to get fit? Then how about taking a look at this great race schedule being offered by the Kennesaw Grand Prix Race series, and Fontis Water is a proud sponsor. Whether you are looking to run your first ever 5K or break your personal best – we have got several great racea for you. And not only will you be creating a new, healthier you, but you will be helping out the Kennesaw community.

The Kennesaw Grand Prix Series is officially announced for 2012, and we can’t wait to see you out at least one of these races

The Grand Prix series consist of six 5k’s run IN the city, BY the city’s foundations and FOR the city!
Complete four of the six races for a special commemorative tshirt and sticker.

The six races include:

The 3rd Annual Swift Cantrell Classic
on Mother’s Day Weekend May 12th
benefiting Swift Cantrell Park
(Expected runners 1500)

The Dream Dash 5k
on Father’s Day Weekend June 16th
benefiting the Kennesaw Teen Center
(Expected runners 1000)

The 3rd Annual Run For Wounded Warriors
August 4th
benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project
(Expected runners 2000)

The 4th Annual Great Locomotive Chase 5k
September 8th
benefiting the Southern Museum
(Expected runners 1000)

The 2nd Annual Garden Gallop
October 6th
benefiting the Smith Gilbert Garden’s
(Expected runners 1000)

The 3rd Annual Faith Cline Elf Trot 5k
is the series finale and a twilight run December 1st
benefiting the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children
and put on by the Kennesaw Downtown Development
(Expected runners 2000)
