Meet Mary Raugh

You might call Mary Raugh a jack of all trades when it comes to knowing the water business. She has been in the business since 1996 when she first began working for Georgia Mountain Water, the company owned by Jamie Carroll’s father and family. There she served as the company’s HR and risk management director as well as the customer service and operational director. Upon the selling of GMW, Mary worked with another company, but when Jamie asked her to be a part of Fontis, she was thrilled.
Mary played a key role in getting Fontis off the ground and is proud of where the company is today. Currently Mary oversees customer relations, collections and billing, as well as managing the office staff. What’s interesting about Mary is that for many years she performed her job from New Jersey. Mary truly commuted from up north to Marietta, but as of this month is excited to be back in the metro Atlanta area.
She describes Fontis as a truly fun business. She enjoys interacting with customers and loves meeting new people at special events.
Mary is married and has one son. She and her family are now residents of Woodstock. Although at this moment she finds herself unpacking boxes in her free time, she enjoys needlepointing, hanging out with her son and reading a good book.
